What did the client need?
The client needed to refresh the packaging design of their products to improve their look and make them stand out from competing products. The technical guidelines were set right away – the membranes are packaged in film with a dedicated space for a label of specific dimensions. The design had to take into account all these limitations, but I had the freedom to use any type of print on both elements.
What did my job involve?
I designed a pattern inspired by the slant of the roof and the membrane, which was featured on the foil wrapping the membrane roll. The slant motif appears also on the label. I made the color palette help distinguish each product in the line from each other and match the company’s orange color at the same time. I also made the label feature all necessary instructions, markings, and codes.
